A record number of 50 Business Leaders, from 39 organisations around Galway and beyond, braved the cold, wet weather for 12 hours on Friday the 3rd of December, for the tenth annual COPE Galway Business Leaders’ Sleep Out.
Braving cold, wet and wintry conditions during their night on Shop Street while raising awareness and funds for COPE Galway’s homeless services, the business leaders taking part experienced first-hand the difficult conditions of sleeping rough and had a chance to reflect on what it is like to live life without a home.
